SBZ Postiz is used by authorized company personnel to manage and publish content to company-controlled social media accounts.

• The authorized user’s basic account information, such as name, account ID, and profile picture
• Facebook Page IDs, names, usernames, profile pictures, and Page access information
• Instagram Professional account IDs, names, usernames, and profile pictures
• The relationship between an Instagram Professional account and its connected Facebook Page
• Permissions granted to the application
• Authentication and access tokens required to maintain the authorized connection
• Content selected or created by authorized users, including captions, images, videos, and publishing schedules
• Publishing results, provider post IDs, public post URLs, and error messages
• Page or account engagement information, comments, and insights when an authorized user uses those features
• Technical information such as timestamps, application logs, browser information, and IP addresses for security and troubleshooting

We do not receive or store users’ Facebook or Instagram passwords. Authentication is handled directly by Meta.

3. Meta Permissions We Use

Depending on the features used, SBZ Postiz may request permission to:

• Show Facebook Pages managed by the authorized user
• Access business assets assigned to the authorized user
• Read Page information and engagement
• Create and manage posts on selected Facebook Pages
• Manage Page engagement
• Access Page insights
• Identify Instagram Professional accounts connected to Facebook Pages
• Publish content to selected Instagram Professional accounts
• Read and manage Instagram comments
• Access Instagram account insights

We use these permissions only to provide the social media management functions requested by authorized users.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Authenticate authorized users
• Display available Facebook Pages and Instagram Professional accounts
• Connect the correct social media destination to SBZ Postiz
• Create, schedule, and publish authorized content
• Display publishing status and results
• Read engagement information and insights when requested
• Support authorized comment-management actions
• Maintain and troubleshoot platform integrations
• Protect the service from unauthorized access, misuse, and security threats
• Comply with applicable legal and platform requirements

We do not use Meta Platform Data for advertising, credit decisions, surveillance, or the creation of unrelated user profiles.

5. Legal Basis

Where applicable, we process information based on:

• The authorized user’s consent when connecting a Meta account
• The performance of services requested by the authorized user
• Our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving our business systems
• Compliance with applicable legal obligations

Users may withdraw authorization by disconnecting the integration or removing the application through their Meta account settings.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information only when necessary with:

• Meta Platforms, Inc., to authenticate accounts and provide Facebook and Instagram functionality
• Postiz software components used in our self-hosted environment
• Infrastructure, hosting, storage, and security providers necessary to operate the service
• Professional advisers or authorities where required by law
• Successors involved in a lawful merger, acquisition, or restructuring, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection requirements

We do not sell Meta Platform Data or personal information.

We do not share Meta Platform Data with third parties for their independent advertising or marketing purposes.

7. Data Storage and Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

Access to SBZ Postiz is restricted to authorized personnel. Authentication credentials and access tokens are treated as confidential and are used only to operate authorized integrations.

No internet-based service can guarantee complete security. Users should promptly notify us if they suspect unauthorized access to an account or integration.

8. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

• Maintain an authorized social media integration
• Provide scheduling and publishing functions
• Keep operational and security records
• Resolve errors or disputes
• Satisfy applicable legal obligations

When an integration is disconnected or a valid deletion request is completed, associated personal information and stored authorization credentials will be deleted or anonymized unless retention is required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups are overwritten according to our normal backup-retention process.

9. User Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of information associated with SBZ Postiz using one of the following methods:

Method 1: Disconnect Through SBZ Postiz

2. Open the Integrations section.
3. Locate the connected Facebook or Instagram account.
4. Disconnect or remove the integration.

Method 2: Remove the Application Through Facebook

1. Sign in to Facebook.
2. Open Settings & Privacy.
3. Open Settings.
4. Open Business Integrations or Apps and Websites.
5. Locate “SBZ Postiz.”
6. Remove the application.

Please identify the relevant Facebook Page or Instagram account without sending passwords, access tokens, or other secret credentials.

Depending on applicable law, users may have the right to:

• Request access to their personal information
